Group therapy sessions offer many benefits and are an effective form of therapy. They are a great way to help with many emotional and behavioral issues. It helps our clients to learn coping and social skills because of the interaction with other clients who are going through similar situations.
Group therapy involves a small number of individuals who share similar challenges and needs. Each person offers to support each other while gaining knowledge and self-awareness about their issues. For example, the group could consist of new moms who are experiencing postpartum depression.

We have therapy workshops that cover specific topics like depression in Black women, facilitated by owner and licensed therapist, Dr. La-Toya Gaines. Each workshop will cover a different topic that sheds light on common and not so common struggles that people often face. Each session has a defined goal and desired outcome. Our clinician’s goal is to teach participants something that they may not be aware of as it pertains to mental health. There will also be activities for participants to engage in as they learn.
Whether you need counseling for anger management, depression, family, or teen counseling, we want to help you. You and your family deserve to be healed, whole, and happy.
